Dear Parents and Carers,
It was lovely to welcome the children back and hear all about their half-term holidays.
The Brumble Bees and Infants have been learning in their new outside area this week! A huge thank you to Leah for organising, sourcing resources and making a lovely space for our children.
On Thursday we had a visit from Mrs Poland and Miss Ratcliffe to complete our school review. The children spoke very well about their reading and maths. Well done to the children for answering questions sensibly and showing their engagement in their learning.
Thank you to our staff for all supporting each other through some challenges this week! We have a fabulous team who are always willing to go over and above to ensure our children have the best experience.
Next week we have parents evening on Wednesday, a vet visit on Thursday and Crazy Hair Day for Children in Need on Friday!
On Saturday 7th November (10am onwards), a working group will undertake a ‘tidy-up’ of the Brayford play area so it is ready for the installation of the equipment. The fencing is being replaced and the current swings (large and small) will be reinstated following any necessary repairs. If you are available to help out, I'm sure it will be greatly appreciated.
Have a lovely weekend!
Miss Sara Leggott
