Nurturing Young Minds for a Bright Future

Dear Parents and Carers,

It's hard to believe that this is the last newsletter of this academic year! I hope that everyone was very pleased with their child's report last week. It was lovely to read such positive comments about each child and the progress they have made.

We have had another busy week completing units of work, KS2 SATs results, leavers assembly and our summer picnic!  Wishing our lovely leaver Rose a wonderful time at secondary school! We really will miss you at Brayford!

The summer picnic was such a wonderful way to have all of our families together celebrating our lovely children and their achievements.  Thank you to Molly for this fabulous idea and to all the staff for helping to make this event happen.

We had great fun on our whole school trip to Exmoor Zoo on Monday. It was a great way to end the term. The children were very well-behaved and a real credit to our school. Thank you so much to the PTA for funding this experience for our children.

We have exciting news!! In September our Brumble Bees will be open full time!! Miss Maynard will be joining the team and teaching in Brumble Bees on a Tuesday afternoon and Thursday all day.

As the year draws to a close, I want to first thank the children for their hard work this year. We really do have such wonderful children who all look after each other and try their best. Thank you to our families for always being so supportive of your children and our school, we really do appreciate it.

A HUGE thank you to our wonderful staff and amazing volunteer Andy ! We will welcome Mrs Moore back in September and thank Leah and Miss Maynard very much for covering her in her absence. We have a great team who go over and above for our children. I hope you all have a well deserved and restful break.

Have a wonderful summer holiday and let's hope the sun keeps shining! We look forward to welcoming the children back to school on Monday 7th September.

Happy Holidays!
