Nurturing Young Minds for a Bright Future

Dear Parents and Carers,

What a week!!  Thank you to our staff for making so many adjustments to keep our children safe. We have had water and ice play, ice poles every day, classes moving and so much more. I really appreciate the team effort this week.

Well done to our children for coping so well in this heat and all the changes that have taken place.

On Monday and Tuesday we had our lifeguard days out at Putsborough Beach. The children had a great time learning about beach safety, the recovery position and even how to perform a rescue! The children really were a credit to our school, and we are so proud of them.

This week we welcomed a French student who is staying with one of our families. She came in and taught some French and the children shared the French they had been learning too. What a lovely experience for our children.

The children have started their end-of-term assessments which will continue next week. They have made such a great effort despite the heat. Well done.

We will try again for Sports day on Monday 6th July at 1.30pm. Thank you for bearing with us after having to postpone so many times!

Have a lovely weekend

Miss Sara Leggott
