Nurturing Young Minds for a Bright Future

Dear Parents and Carers,

We have had a lovely last week before half-term. On Sunday, Rose and Molly went off to Adventure Bude for the week. I popped down to see them after school on Thursday. Rose was excited to tell me about bodyboarding, surfing, mountain boarding, high ropes and so much more! We are very proud of her achievements and so glad she has made new friends ready for the transition to secondary school. A huge thank you to Molly for accompanying Rose on this residential. We hope you both enjoy a rest over half-term!

This week the school council have been creating surveys and finding out what refreshments the children would like on Sports Day. Well done to the school council for gathering this information for us.

On Monday we had a safeguarding assembly, and we discussed the importance of  lanyards. We had sensible conversations about the different colour lanyards, what they mean and how they keep us safe.

I hope that everyone has a restful and relaxing half-term. Hopefully we will have some lovely sunshine too! We look forward to welcoming the children back to school on Tuesday 2nd June!
