Dear Parents and Carers,
It has been lovely to enjoy some sunshine this week. The OPAL Project (Outdoor Play & Learning) has provided some wonderful, creative play this week. We have had cafés, dens, potions in the mud kitchen, team games swings and so much more!
On Sunday some of our families attended an Exeter City football match. We were lucky enough to see Sophie Gillies play, who visited our school. Exeter City won 2-1, so there was lots of excitement from our children. It was a great day out and a lovely experience together.
On Tuesday Mrs Connell, Mr Pester and I visited another school in our Trust. It is always a very valuable opportunity to talk to other colleagues and share good practice.
Mrs Moore will be absent from school from now until possibly the end of term due to her operation. We wish her all the best in her recovery and look forward to having her back in school when she is better. We are very pleased that Leah will be in the junior class with Mrs Connell/Mr Pester every morning. Miss Maynard will be back in the Brayford team as she supports the juniors in the afternoons.
Have a lovely weekend!
Miss Sara Leggott
