Dear Parents and Carers,
We have had a lovely and busy week in school! On Monday, the junior children visited the Ilfracombe Aquarium and Lifeboat Station. The children had a wonderful day and had lots to share on their return. I was delighted to receive an email from staff at the aquarium, who commented: "What a lovely group! A joy when the children are so behaved and engaged".
Well done to the juniors for representing Brayford Academy so well. We are very proud of you.
On Tuesday, the juniors completed their second session at Falcons Gymnastics. The children have enjoyed learning new skills and using a variety of equipment.
On Wednesday, the whole school took part in Chinese New Year activities! The junior class made noodle soup and the infants completed craft linked to the year of the horse.
We celebrated World Book Day on Thursday. The children came dressed in some fantastic costumes and shared their favourite books with their teacher. It was lovely to see the children full of enthusiasm for reading and the joy it can bring.
We are looking forward to another busy time next week too!
