Nurturing Young Minds for a Bright Future

Dear Parents and Carers,

This week has been very busy! It was lovely to welcome Frankie back and hear all about his residential to London. Thank you to Molly for going with him and Leah for covering the office.

The infants had their last week of Falcons Gymnastics on Tuesday. They had some wonderful sessions and the children thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you to Mr Balding for driving the minibus each week.

The juniors will have their sessions at Falcons starting on Tuesday 24th Feb, Tues 3rd March and Tues 10th March. The junior children will need to come into school in their PE kits these days.

On Wednesday we had our school review with Mr Polak, Miss Carter and Mrs Poland. We were able to share the children's work and discuss our school improvement plan.

A huge thank you to Ruth Knights and the Methodist Church Committee for providing us  with parking while the village hall roof is being repaired.

There will be no parking in the village hall car park when we return after half-term. Please come into school via the main driveway.

We have lots of exciting opportunities coming up after half-term, including a trip to Ilfracombe for the juniors, a visit from Exmoor Zoo and a course for the juniors delivered by the North Devon Hospice.

We will be having parents' evening on Wednesday 11th March. Please sign up on arbor for your time slot.

Have a lovely half-term break!

Miss Sara Leggott
