Nurturing Young Minds for a Bright Future

Dear Parents and Carers,

We have had another lovely week. On Monday during assembly, we read letters from children who wanted to be on the School Council or be an Eco-Ranger. We had some fantastic letters with thoughtful reasons for taking on one of these roles. We had a whole school vote and can now announce that the new School Councillors are – Oliver B, Jemmi, Rose and Frankie. Our Eco-Rangers are Clara, James C, Iris and Freddie.

Well done to all of our children for taking part.

On Tuesday, the infants went to Falcons Gymnastics for the afternoon. We had the entire gym to ourselves, which the children loved! They were able to use lots of different equipment and learn new skills, a wonderful afternoon.

On our return, one of the coaches commented by saying 'How wonderfully well-behaved your children were. We work with many schools, and the behaviour of your students is certainly among the best we have seen'.

Well done infants for representing our school so well. We are very proud of you.

Next week we have a Year 5 taking part in our London Residential with other schools across the Trust.  I am sure he will have a wonderful time, and we can't wait to hear all about it! Molly will be accompanying Frankie for the trip. Leah will be covering the office from Tuesday to Friday morning for the first hour of the day.

Have a lovely weekend!
