Nurturing Young Minds for a Bright Future

Dear Parents and Carers,

What a busy but very rainy week! On Monday we had a visit from Mr Pleasance, who is our dyslexia specialist. We had a very informative staff meeting to support the interventions already in place for our children.

On Tuesday I had a meeting with Mr Polak to discuss how we will be moving the school forward next year. It is always helpful to share ideas, make plans and offer our children even more opportunities.

Unfortunately, sports day could not go ahead on Wednesday! We are hoping that the rain will stop over the weekend, and it will be safe to hold it on Wednesday 17th June.

The juniors had a trip to see the Dartmoor ponies on Thursday. It was a rainy day, but the children had lots to share on their return. Thank you to Mrs Joselin for driving and Mr Pester for accompanying his class.

Next week we have our transition morning on Monday. We are looking forward to welcoming our new children.

Let's hope we have some sunny weather next week as we have our whole school photography on Tuesday.

Have a lovely weekend!
