Dear Parents and Carers, 
Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas holiday. We are looking forward to an exciting term ahead.
Thank you for bearing with us this week with the awful weather that we have had!
We started the new term with a training day for all teachers on Monday. It was a great way to begin the term and a chance to put some new opportunities in place for our children.
It was lovely to welcome the children back to school on Tuesday and hear all about their holiday. The children have settled back in quickly and I have been very impressed with their attitude to their learning and their behaviour around school.
The juniors enjoyed Forest School this week with Mrs Joselin and Mrs Moore. This also gave the infants the opportunity to have a music lesson with Mr Pester, which will happen every Thursday.
This week in assemblies we have been sharing the 'Happier January Calendar'. We have been thinking about small goals we can set this month to be kind to ourselves and others.
