Brayford children take part in TEAM Multi Academy Trusts Proms Concert at The Queens' Theatre

TEAM Multi-Academy Trust's Proms Concert a Resounding Success at The Queens Theatre, Barnstaple, Showcasing Diverse North Devon Primary School Talent

The Queens Theatre in Barnstaple resonated with a vibrant array of artistic expression in March 2025, as TEAM Academy Trust presented a memorable Proms Concert. The event celebrated the extraordinary musical and performing arts talents of primary school students from across North Devon.

Students from Beaford Community Primary School, Brayford Academy, High Bickington Academy, Horwood & Newton Tracey Primary School, Umberleigh Academy, Witheridge Academy, and Swimbridge Primary School delivered a captivating performance that showcased a stunning range of abilities. The program featured not only beautiful singing and instrumental performances, but also dynamic dancing and a deeply moving poetry recitation.

The students’ dedication and hard work were evident in their polished performances, which drew enthusiastic applause from the packed theatre. The event culminated in a truly emotional moment, with all seven schools and the audience joining together in a powerful rendition of "Land of Hope and Glory."

"Congratulations to the children from all seven schools on their outstanding performances in the Proms concert," said Bonnie, Music Teacher at TEAM Academy Trust. "Their confidence and creativity were truly impressive. It was wonderful to see such a diverse range of performances and the genuine support they showed for one another. I am immensely proud of them all."
