A Wild Day on Dartmoor!
On Thursday, the juniors enjoyed an exciting trip to Dartmoor, where they had the wonderful opportunity to see the famous Dartmoor ponies in their natural habitat. Although the weather was not at its best, with plenty of rain and grey skies, the children did not let it dampen their spirits and had lots of fun exploring the moor!
They learnt about the history of these beautiful animals and the important role they play in maintaining the moorland environment. The juniors spotted several ponies grazing peacefully and were fascinated by their gentle nature!
