It was a lovely moment to see firsthand the impact of our efforts and to support such an important cause.

The children enjoyed dipping marbles into bright colours and rolling them across paper to create unique and colourful patterns.

There was lots of excitement as they experimented with different movements and watched their designs come to life. A fun, creative activity that sparked plenty of imagination!

Using ice cubes, they observed how solids can change when warmed and discussed what happens as ice begins to melt. The children were fascinated to see the transformation and eagerly shared their ideas and predictions. They also carried out a fun experiment with water, testing a variety of objects to discover which items float and which sink. There were lots of thoughtful predictions, careful observations, and excited reactions! It was a fantastic hands-on lesson that encouraged curiosity, questioning, and early scientific thinking.

The children were truly amazing, demonstrating fantastic focus, determination, and enthusiasm throughout every activity. From balancing and jumping to perfecting their rolls, they approached each challenge with confidence and big smiles. It has been a joy to see how much their skills and self-belief have grown over the weeks. We are so proud of their engagement and positive attitude, and while we will certainly miss our weekly visits, the memories (and new skills!) will stay with us for a long time to come.

Dressed in lab coats and uniforms, our young doctors and nurses took their responsibilities very seriously. In this particularly adorable moment, our young doctor carefully used a stethoscope to check the heartbeat of a classmate’s goose named Charlie, while his attentive nurse assisted closely by his side. The pair worked together to ensure their feathered patient received the very best care!

So much was packed into the trip, from exploring the magical world of Harry Potter to visiting Parliament and learning about how the country is run. They loved seeing London from the top of the London Eye and were in awe of the beauty of St Paul’s Cathedral. Watching Hercules at the theatre was a real highlight, and trips to the Tower of London and London Zoo were just as exciting. On the way home, they even stopped at Swindon Steam Museum, which was the perfect final adventure. The children were brilliant all week, made amazing memories, and had the best time exploring London together!
