Easter maths!
This week the brumbles enjoyed a fun and engaging maths activity inspired by Easter!
Using Easter eggs that had been cracked in half, the children were challenged to match the two halves correctly. One half of each egg showed a number, while the other half displayed the corresponding number of dots. The children had to carefully count the dots and find the matching number, helping to build their counting and number recognition skills.
The activity encouraged problem-solving, concentration, and plenty of discussion as the children worked together to find the correct matches. It was wonderful to see their excitement as they successfully paired the eggs and developed confidence in their early maths abilities.
A cracking way to learn through play!
